Community Led Local Development

The brief

Eight Wire were approached by Community Led Local Development (CLLD) for a full design and development of a new website. Hosting, implementation, maintenance, security and management of the website were also required. The primary need identified was to raise the profile of their new programme, attract eligible project applicants and raise awareness of CLLD to potential beneficiaries.

What we did

We set interrogating the brief to ensure that the needs of CLLD were fully met. Our team placed usability and appeal at the heart of this project to capture visitors from their arrival on the site. As part pf the project we spent some time identifying brand values, tone of voice and target markets which helped us to create a website that would reflect the personality and goals of CLLD.

What happened next

A set of graphics were created to give the site and brand a distinct personality. These graphics were then used across the website and other marketing materials, such as pop up banners.

Tone of voice documents were created to guide the user on brand language and messaging. This work also provided a good base for establishing key words for effective SEO.

The outcome

All of our work came together in a fresh new website with a consistent brand identity both online and offline. The team at Community Led Local Development were very impressed with our approach to the project and the support we provided once the project was complete.
