Meet the team
Sara oversees all the creative output of the studio and keeps projects on time and on budget. A graphic design graduate of Falmouth College, Sara honed her design skills working for the British Film Institute and has been an elected member of the Institute of Typographic Designers (ISTD) since 2002.
Sara returned to Cornwall in 2003 and founded Eight Wire in 2004.
With a keen interest in marketing, Zoe mixes creativity with project management as a Studio Manager at Eight Wire.
As the first point of contact for all enquiries, Zoe's role involves managing client projects and supporting the team across all areas. Outside of work, she enjoys heading to the beach or local coast path.
David has a wealth of experience in ecommerce conversion optimisation, Google platforms, SEO auditing and strategic marketing - taking a goal orientated approach to website builds and marketing projects.
If he’s not in the office, you’ll most likely find him kitesurfing when it’s windy and at the wakeboard parks when it’s not.
Lauren is an experienced digital marketer with a background in strategic marketing and project development for ecommerce and e-learning platforms. Her particular focus is on SEO and data-driven campaigns, utilising Google Analytics and other tools to achieve results.
Bex is an experienced marketer with an extensive background creating and delivering marketing strategies, utilising various digital tools, managing social media and implementing PR campaigns; as well as a great track record writing awards entries for clients.
In her spare time Bex can be found on stage performing with various amateur dramatics groups.
Senior Graphic Designer
From branding concepts, design for print and advertising through to websites and UX design, Katie delivers designs that transform our clients’ campaigns.
Katie has a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Falmouth College of Arts and ten years hands-on experience. With a passion for adventure Katie is likely to be found outdoors on her days off, in the sea or out exploring.
Passionate about graphic design, illustration and photography, Favi is highly experienced in working on brand identity, packaging, web design, social media, content creation and print collateral not to mention a few apps for the iPhone.
With an international track record, Favi loves to achieve positive outcomes through design and has been working, in various countries, as a graphic designer since 1996.
With more than 15 years of extensive, professional web development experience, Andy excels at coding in all website programming languages.
He has a wealth of experience creating websites for a range of organisations and acted as lead web developer for Cornwall NHS.
Danny has experience coding across the board and was able to showcase these skills while achieving his BA (Hons) in Digital Media at Falmouth University. As well as developing his own game he’s also built apps and websites while freelancing.
Outside of coding, you may find Danny scaling leisure centre walls, bouldering (this is a form of rock climbing we are told!), gaming and reading about psychology and philosophy.
Getting her foot in the door for a career in digital media and marketing, Maddy is learning from the Eight Wire team. She has always been interested in marketing and design, having done work experience at the age of fifteen at Eight Wire, she has been learning with us on and off over the past four years.
In her spare time Maddy is creating, from paintings to cooking up all sorts of culinary delights.
Finance and Office Manager
As well as keeping the office running like a well-oiled machine, our administrative genius Susan is the person who keeps the Eight Wire team happy, healthy and strong.
Susan joined Eight Wire from the online experience sales site BuyAGift.co.uk where she headed the accounts support. When she’s not looking after our billing and human resources, she is out paddle-boarding or surfing with her family.
A trained writer, Jamie is an accomplished digital marketer who thrives on seeing our strategies work for our clients.
A graduate in English and linguistics of Exeter University, Jamie trained as a journalist and, following time as a reporter for the Western Morning News he freelanced in the national press before co-founding Eight Wire.
