Young & Talented Cornwall – the Lord Lieutenant’s Fund (Y&TC) provides support to talented under-23s in Cornwall to achieve their goals in sport, the arts, science and many other disciplines. They approached us to develop a new website that is secure, showcases the ways in which they can support young people and encourages eligible individuals to apply.
We sat down with the Y&TC team and reviewed their current website; identifying what information they needed to keep and the various ways in which we could make the new website modern, fresh and engaging.
Once we had a clear idea of their aims, we set to work on the designs and ensured that these made the most of their new logo and brand assets, clearly communicating their vibrant visual identity throughout the various pages of the new site.

After the designs were signed off, we progressed with the development of the website. We ensured the website has an SSL security certificate, is responsive, allows people to sign up to their newsletter and integrates with JotForm – the software they use for their online application forms.
The result was a fresh, new website that showcases the vibrant Y&TC brand identity and the fantastic achievements of the young people that have been supported by the fund. It is secure, runs smoothly and achieves the team’s technical requirements. The website was launched at a celebration evening in November 2019 and has allowed many young people to apply for funding that supports their pursuit of achieving their goals.
